For Indian students, studying MBBS abroad means direct admission on NEET merit with no donation or capitation fee, at a cost far lower than most private medical colleges in India. The universities Education World works with are recognised by the National Medical Commission (NMC) and listed in the World Directory of Medical Schools, teach in English, and give students early clinical exposure and a globally accepted degree.
The most popular and affordable destinations for Indian MBBS students are Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan. They offer NMC-recognised, English-medium universities at low tuition, which is why Education World focuses on them rather than countries like the US or UK that do not offer direct-entry MBBS to Indian school leavers.
Start by qualifying NEET-UG, which is mandatory for every Indian student going abroad for MBBS. Then shortlist an NMC-compliant university, submit your application with your NEET scorecard and class 10 and 12 marksheets, receive the admission letter and apply for the student visa. Education World handles university selection, documentation and visa support end to end.
You must have qualified NEET-UG and passed class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English, scoring at least 50% aggregate in PCB (40% for SC, ST and OBC candidates). You also need to be at least 17 years old by 31 December of the admission year and hold a valid passport.
Total tuition for the full MBBS course in Russia, Georgia, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan or Uzbekistan is usually a fraction of what a private medical college in India charges, with no donation. Exact fees vary by university and year, so speak to our counsellors for the current figure for the university you choose.
Student visas in most MBBS destinations restrict or do not permit paid work, and the course is demanding, so students are expected to focus on their studies. Any part-time work rules depend on the specific country, so confirm with our counsellors before planning on it.
