The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences, NBEMS has started the registration process of the NEET PG 2024 exam on April 16, 2024. The students who wish to apply for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test – Post Graduate (NEET- PG) 2024 can find the application form for this exam on the official website of NBE at natboard.edu.in from 3 pm onwards.

The students can fill out the NEET UG 2024 application form till 6 May 2024. After that, the students will not be allowed to register for the NEET UG 2024 exam. The authorities will open the pre-final edit window on May 28 and will close it on June 3, 2024. The final edit window will open on June 7 and will close on June 10, 2024.

The students will be able to download the NEET PG admit card 2024 on June 18, 2024. This year, the NBEMS is going to conduct the NEET UG 2024 exam on 23 June 2024. The results will be released by July 15, 2024. The cut-off date for completion of the internship is August 15, 2024.

The NEET PG exam comprises 200 Multiple Choice Questions with each question having 4 options in English only. The students will have to select the correct answer out of the 4 response options provided in each question. The total duration of the NEET UG 2024 exam is 3 hours and 30 minutes.  There shall be a 25% negative marking for incorrect answers. No marks will be deducted for unanswered questions.

What are the eligibility requirements for the NEET PG 2024 examination?

To appear in the NEET PG 2024 exam, the students will have to first ensure that they meet the eligibility criteria of this exam because if they do not meet the eligibility criteria of the NEET PG 2024 exam, he/she will not be allowed to sit for this entrance examination. Hence anybody who is planning to register for the NEET PG 2024 exam, should check the eligibility criteria of the exam before participating in its registration process.

• The students should have an MBBS degree or provisional MBBS pass certificate issued by the university affiliated with the Medical Council of India (MCI).
• The students should have a permanent or provisional registration certificate issued either by MCI or the State Medical Council (SMC).
• The students should have completed the 12-month rotatory internship or are set to complete the rotatory internship before 15 August 2024.
• The student should be an Indian Citizen. 
• Foreign Nationals are also allowed to appear in the NEET PG 2024 exam.
• There is no age limit to apply for NEET PG 2024. 
• There is no limit on the number of attempts. The students can appear in the NEET PG 2024 exam as many times as they want.

Detailed NEET PG 2024 eligibility criteria for foreign national students:

The students who are Foreign nationals should fulfil the below-mentioned eligibility requirements of the NEET PG 2024 exam to fill out its form.

• Foreign medical graduates should have cleared/qualified/passed the Foreign Medical Graduate Examination (FMGE) (Screening Test).
• Foreign Nationals should be registered with MCI/SMC.
• The students should complete the internship on or before August 15, 2024.
• The students should bring their FMGE pass certificate issued by NBE on the day of the conduction of NEET PG 2024.

Anybody who will participate in the registration process of the NEET PG 2024 exam, will have to pay the application fees of this exam to complete the registration. What steps will be required to complete the NEET PG 2024 application form?

The students who are going to register for the NEET PG 2024 exam, should follow the below-mentioned steps to complete the registration process. The registration process of the NEET PG 2024 exam has started on 16 April 2024. The last date to fill out the NEET PG 2024 application form is 6 May 2024.

Step 1:  First, the students will go to the official website of NBE — natboard.edu.in

Step 2: Now the student will click on the NEET PG 2024 link, which will be available on the website's home page. 

Step 3: In this step, the student will complete the registration process and receive the login credentials on the registered email ID or mobile number. After that, the student will log in to the account. 

Step 4: Now the student will fill out the application form with the required personal, educational, communication and exam city preference information.

Step 5: Then the student will pay the NEET PG 2024 exam's application fees and click the submit button. (For General, OBC and EWS category students, the NEET PG 2024 application fee is ₹3,500 and for SC, ST, and PWD category students, the NEET PG 2024 fee is ₹2,500)

Step 6:  At last, the student will submit the form, download the confirmation page and keep a hard copy for future reference. 

What steps should the students follow while downloading the NEET PG 2024 admit card?

Once the admit card for the NEET PG 2024 exam is released, the students can follow the following steps to download the admit card for the exam.

1. First, the student will visit the official website of NBE, i.e.- nbe.edu.in
2. Now the student will click on the “NEET PG 2024” button.
3. Then the student will click on the Applicant Login;
4. In this step, the student will enter the details asked for such as User ID and password;
5. At last, the student will click on download the “NEET PG 2024 admit card” option.
6. The admit card for the NEET PG 2024 will be downloaded. Now the students will keep this document for future use.

Documents required during the NEET PG 2024 registration process:

The below-mentioned documents will be needed for verification/identification purposes during the registration process for the NEET PG 2024 exam.

• Class 12 Marks sheet
• MBBS degree mark sheet
• Scanned copy of Signature and photographs (size of scanned photograph less than 80kb and signature less than 80kb)
• Scanned copy of the Caste certificate
• Valid email ID and mobile number
• Net Banking Information
